David D. Cardone, Partner
David is a civil litigator and founding partner of Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick, LLP. A graduate of Duquesne University School of Law and The Pennsylvania State University, he is focused primarily on commercial, employment, real estate, and transportation industry matters, including a variety of nonprofit organizations.
David regularly represents businesses and professionals in litigation including business ownership disputes, class action employment and misclassification matters, and professional liability matters. He serves as outside general counsel for a variety of Southern California businesses, advising on business law and risk management considerations.
Before moving to San Diego in 2008, David was a judicial law clerk for Justice Cynthia A. Baldwin of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Kelly A. Potter, PWCA
Kelly Potter is an Account Executive with Cavignac & Associates, specializing in insurance for nonprofit organizations, schools, design firms, and the hospitality industry. Raised in the Los Angeles area, Kelly was born into an insurance family. Her grandfather founded a privately owned insurance brokerage in 1959, where Kelly grew up working part-time until moving to San Diego to complete her education.
In 2007, Kelly joined Cavignac & Associates. She earned her Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in 2009 and her Professional Workers’ Compensation Advisors (PWCA) designation in 2011. She is currently working on the Charted Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation as well as the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designation.
Kelly graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in 2008, where she participated on the 2007 Division Two National Championship Water Ski Team. Kelly is actively involved with many local non-profit organizations. She is a member of Women Give San Diego, a past board member for the YMCA Overnight Camping branch, and actively involved in Next Level Missions, a non-profit co-founded by her family dedicated to improving the lives of the Hill Tribes in Northern Thailand.
When Kelly is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband Scott, and their daughter Rae. She also enjoys participating in a variety of action and endurance sports and recently completed her first marathon and half-Ironman.
